International School of Turin (IST) as a proud IB (International Baccalaureate) World School is dedicated to educate the whole child with our programmes aimed at developing students who become responsible global citizens. We want to broaden our students’ minds as well as their opportunities. Over the past 50 plus years, the International School of Turin has strived to always improve itself, enhancing the Campus and the facilities at student disposal but also its Academic Portfolio, to be the first International School in the territory. IST is the oldest international school in Piedmont and has been welcoming international and local students since 1963. It is the only school in the area to be a full-continuum IB school as well as being accredited with both CIS and NEASC and having been granted Parità Scolastica (national equivalence) by the Italian Ministry of Education for its Primary program. Offering a unique academic portfolio, IST is the only school in Piedmont with a complete IB-Continuum Programme, from early childhood to Grade 12. The school’s curriculum is international, and leads to the completion of both the High School Diploma and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. The IB Diploma is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education and is legally equivalent to the Italian Maturità.
